Coom Green Energy Park

Brookfield Renewable Ireland and Coillte have come together to explore the potential of a renewable energy project near the Bottlehill and Glannasack areas in County Cork. This project will explore the use of wind turbines and energy storage technology.

Community Engagement

Our team is working with the local community to ensure that information is available and that queries are recognised and responded to in a transparent and efficient manner. We are committed to involving local people in the project and being honest and open in how we design the project. We are also committed to ensuring that local communities share in the economic opportunity that this project would bring.

Since March 2018, our Project Team has been going door to door in the areas closest to the proposed development area to discuss the project with local residents.
